Our Mission

Political Analysis Without the Spin

ChristineSmithForPresident.com was founded on a simple premise: American citizens deserve political analysis that is honest, rigorous, and free from partisan spin. In an era of algorithmically-amplified outrage and party-line commentary, we believe there is still a vital place for clear-eyed examination of facts.

We are not liberal. We are not conservative. We are not centrist in the sense of splitting the difference between two parties. We try to follow evidence where it leads, acknowledge complexity where it exists, and call things as we see them — even when that is uncomfortable.

Our readers include Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. We consider that a sign that we're doing something right.

Every claim in our articles is sourced. We link to primary sources, not other commentary. When we make a mistake, we correct it publicly and promptly.

Political Independence

We accept no advertising from political campaigns, PACs, or advocacy organizations. Our funding comes entirely from reader subscriptions.

Intellectual Honesty

We acknowledge when the evidence is genuinely uncertain. We change our minds when the facts warrant it. We do not defend positions out of pride.
