CHRISTINE SMITH, Libertarian Candidate for President:
Christine Smith, 41 (born January 16, 1967 in Houston Texas; German/Irish descent), single, from Golden, Colorado, is a writer, author, speaker, political activist and humanitarian. She has written
numerous articles for state, national and international publications (newspapers, magazines, online publications).
Her articles have covered a wide range of topics: the arts, technology, business, politics, health, environment, social justice,
human spirituality, and profile interviews with high achievers, and she has appeared as a guest on numerous national &
international radio shows due to her writing. She is also author of an internationally popular book, A Mountain In The
Wind - An Exploration of the Spirituality of John Denver.
She was recipient of the Amigas Peace Power Prize in 2000 due to
her humanitarian work nationwide. She was the founder, manager and hostess for a major annual musical event for 6 years
which brought visitors to Colorado from worldwide, and founded and was president of a nationwide charity which helped
thousands in need across America for over 7 years; was advertising sales director for a national physical fitness magazine
for 3 years; and has donated her public speaking and writing skills for years to help raise public awareness and support
for a number of charitable and political causes.
Involved in political activism since she was a teenager, she now seeks the Libertarian presidential nomination because
she believes we need a Libertarian who is articulate, knowledgeable as well as being a charismatic speaker as our
spokesperson in 2008, someone capable of and willing to bring the Libertarian message to the American people and
someone who will generate media attention and interest through radio, TV, and live appearances nationwide.
Her campaign: "Americans Awake!", focuses on limiting the federal government to only its constitutionally
authorized functions--dramatically shrinking its size, power and cost-- thereby returning liberty and freedom to the
American people. She believes social and economic progress is achieved only through liberty. She has already brought
that message to millions of Americans through her interviews and campaign radio appearances on AM-Radio (including several
50,000-watt AM-Radio shows) nationwide.

Truth is my highest priority. Sincerely sharing what I believe and what I will do for the American people
is what my platform is about. I do not equivocate, nor do I try to be all things to all people. Thus,
you can imagine how it feels to have entered the dark world of American politics and how it feels to
watch and listen to other presidential candidates. I keep asking myself, how can the American people
take such candidates seriously? Here's a humorous look by a friend of mine at the typical American
presidential candidate, 'Blot For President.' Every time I hear it, I shake my head...realizing it's this kind of
politician who is responsible for the dire situation our nation is in now.
Listen To 'Blot For President.'
